Job description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and nurturing Preschool Teacher’s Assistant to join our team! This individual will support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and provide a safe, engaging environment for children.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare facility or 30 college credits
- 45-hour certifications in:
- Child Growth and Development
- Preschool Curriculum
- Infant-Toddler
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of child development stages (social, emotional, intellectual)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and engage in physical activities (bend, squat, dance, run, etc.)
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
