Paraprofessional (School-Based) – Mars

We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our Mars school-based team. In this role, you'll work alongside teachers and therapists across our expansive campus to provide direct support to students with special needs, helping them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally — with the added benefit of a natural, serene environment that supports student well-being.

What You'll Do

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support with classwork, tests, and activities
  • Reinforce learning concepts under teacher or therapist supervision
  • Support students in following IEP and behavior plans, including ABA strategies
  • Supervise students across our campus, including classrooms, outdoor spaces, nature trails, and on field trips
  • Assist students with personal needs such as mobility, toileting, and self-care
  • Foster a safe and respectful learning environment while maintaining professional relationships with staff and students
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and outdoor learning spaces
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the director to support student success

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Associate's Degree (required)
  • Experience: Prior work with children or individuals with special needs (preferred but not required)
  • Skills: Patience, compassion, adaptability, and strong communication skills — a love of the outdoors is a plus!
