Job description

Description The Family Support Worker will provide direct support and assistance to families to help them achieve stability and improve their overall well-being. This role involves assessing family needs, offering guidance, and connecting them with appropriate resources and services by using your bilingual skills in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole.

What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference in the Lives of Families... · Provide information and educational resources to family members · Assist families in identifying resources to meet individual family needs · Develop the Family Resource Center calendar · Host parent and Youth Support groups · Complete all documentation in a timely manner · Provide support to volunteers

Requirements

· Experience with working with youth and families · Experience with educational systems preferred · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · At minimum, basic verbal fluency in English and Spanish required · Strong Computer Skills
