Job Description
Our Ideal Candidate Will: ● Actively respond to incidents, fights or other issues in or on school grounds that threaten the safety of students, staff, and/or guests. ● Report unusual activity or suspicions of safety issues to administration in a timely fashion. ● Complete proper documentation related to incident reports and misconduct reports. ● Monitor school grounds and school entrances to ensure only authorized personnel and authorized visitors access the school. ● Monitor the student entry and dismissal process to ensure safety. ● Build positive and professional relationships with students and leverage those relationships to establish and maintain productive and safe learning environments. ● Exercise dignity and respect when interacting with students at all times. ● Under direction from administration, lead efforts to de-escalate inappropriate student behaviors and assist students with maximizing their time on task in the center. ● Ability to drive between campuses (Southern Hills and Youree Dr); as well as specialized events (ie Graduation).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required: ● Professional and positive attitude. ● Ability to make decisions independently. ● Uphold standards set forth by the company without constant feedback or training. Education and Experience: ● Previous experience in security preferred ● Have a PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card) card or ability to obtain a PERC card.
