Responsibilities

Position Summary

  • Responsible for the following: 1- Delivery of treatment services to children ranging in ages from 0-21 years 2- Evaluation services 3- Job-related department responsibilities This position is Per Diem- hours/schedule based on the needs of the Clinic. Position Functions and Responsibilities Provide treatment for 10 – 12 patients per day Supervise student interns as directed by Manager Conduct initial Physical Therapy evaluations and re-evaluations Develops and reviews patient care plans in conjunction with Physiatrist Participates in clinical quality assurance initiatives Provides patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentation Complete reporting activities as required by regulatory and departmental standards including but not limited to:
  • daily notation of therapy
  • all progress reports with updates
  • rehabilitation rounds/staff conferences
  • other activities that may be assigned form time to time, i.e. splinting Develops and reviews patient care plans in conjunction with Physiatrist Participates in clinical quality assurance initiatives Provides patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentation Comply with established ESCR , Inc. policies and procedures re: quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control, confidentiality of patient information, customer service, attendance, punctuality, dress code, professional conduct, annual health assessments etc. Participate in all departmental in-services and staff development activities

Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL & LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree and/or Master’s/or Doctorate in PT with NYS License as a registered Physical Therapist (PT) or in process with permit. Must maintain license in good standing. Experience Minimum 1 year experience in clinical pediatric environment Hourly: $80/Hr
