Academic Technology Coordinator/IT Specialist

This role involves supporting and maintaining it infrastructure while guiding employees and students in the effective use of technology, focusing heavily on managing and optimizing the canvas learning management system (Lms). Key duties include providing hands-On support for educational technology tools, planning technology training sessions, and researching new tools to enhance learning experiences.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in information technology, instructional technology, or a related field, along with prior it experience, preferably in a high school setting. Essential qualifications include strong knowledge of canvas lms, a/V hardware (Projectors, displays, apple tvs), excellent communication skills, and a commitment to integrating technology to enhance educational outcomes.
