Assistant Professor, Med-Surg - MCHS

The faculty member will prepare and deliver instruction across didactic, lab, simulation, and clinical settings for pre-Licensure pathways (Asn, bsn, absn), ensuring high academic standards are met. This role also involves using various assessments to evaluate student mastery and providing timely feedback to support academic success.

Candidates must possess a master’s degree in nursing (Doctorate preferred) and a minimum of three years of direct patient care clinical experience, along with a valid and current iowa nursing license. Academic teaching experience is preferred, and demonstrated abilities in leadership, innovative teaching strategies, and project management are required.
