Family Advocate - Head Start - Mt. Gilead

The family advocate will recruit, enroll, and maintain contact with eligible families, developing rapport to assess strengths and support them in setting and achieving individual and family goals. This role involves guiding families toward self-Reliance, ensuring health screenings are completed, and nurturing positive relationships to prepare children for successful transitions to kindergarten and beyond.

The minimum requirement for this position is an associate degree in social work, human services, family services counseling, or a related degree, such as psychology, within the field of family services. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check, drug test, driver's record check, and reference checks.
