Standardized Patient Educator

The standardized patient educator is responsible for training, quality assurance, and ongoing professional development for standardized patients (Sps) and technique patients (Tps) used in high-Stakes clinical skills assessments. This involves ensuring accurate case portrayal, reliable ratings, adherence to protocols, and active involvement in the recruitment and selection of participants.

Required qualifications include an associate's degree in health sciences, education, or theatre, or 2+ years of equivalent experience, along with experience assessing individuals and coaching/Feedback skills. Candidates must be able to realistically portray case scenarios, maintain composure during sensitive topics, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
