Early Childhood After-School Teacher

The teacher will co-Lead the afternoon session with an assistant teacher, developing an inquiry-Based curriculum that supports lifelong learning dispositions through play and exploration based on the yew chung education philosophy. Essential duties include creating a safe, nurturing environment, managing behavior positively, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Candidates must be native english or mandarin speakers with strong communication skills and adherence to the yew chung educational philosophies, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaborative relationships. Preferred qualifications include experience in an ece environment, at least 12 ece units or an aa/Higher degree in a related field, and a child development permit from the state of california.
