BSN Instructor - MedSurg/Mental Health - Per Diem

The bsn nursing instructor will deliver clinical site education to students at the assigned workforce development program site, utilizing principles of teaching appropriate for adult learners. Responsibilities include planning and supervising student clinical experiences, evaluating student performance against learning outcomes, and ensuring clinical assignments meet both student and facility needs.

Candidates must hold an unencumbered california board of registered nursing license and be eligible for approval by the ca brn as an instructor in relevant specialties. A master's degree in nursing, education, or administration is generally required, though a bsn with current master's enrollment may be considered for a clinical teaching assistant role, alongside a minimum of four years of rn experience, with one year in the last five years providing direct patient care.
