Job description

  • Department Overview Elderly adults experiencing changes in behavior and emotions need specialized care in a safe and supportive environment.
  • The inpatient geriatric psychiatry facility at Hillsboro Medical Center provides coordinated care for the unique needs of older adults need of short term crisis stabilization to improve their quality of life and well-being.
  • Function/Duties of Position As an OHSU employee, you will find opportunities to teach and mentor residents and fellows, participate in regular Grand Rounds presentations (1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit), explore opportunities to serve and collaborate with a host of engaged faculty, staff and educators.
  • The Department has a fully accredited training program that seeks to deliver collaborative, high quality, compassionate, cost effective service that promotes education, research, and clinical leadership.
