Speech Pathologist

The speech language pathologist evaluates and treats speech and language disorders, diagnosing issues like fluency, articulation, and language problems in students. They also act as a liaison between teachers and the learning network department while creating and implementing individualized treatment plans.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in speech language pathology and have at least two years of successful classroom experience. Required certifications include the asha certificate of clinical competence and a department of health license, along with maintaining malpractice insurance.
