Preschool Teacher

The preschool teacher is responsible for managing the classroom to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards while creating a welcoming environment for children and parents. This role involves creating and implementing age-Appropriate lesson plans, supervising all activities, and maintaining accurate classroom paperwork.

Minimum requirements include 90 clock hours in child development and curriculum planning plus one year of experience in a licensed preschool classroom, which can be substituted by one year of college (30 semester hours) or a combination of experience and college. Additionally, 9 clock hours in communication training are required, with an aa or ba in early childhood education preferred.
