The adaptive camp leader will work with campers requiring special needs or additional support to facilitate their inclusion in a traditional day camp setting, providing behavior modification and support services. This role involves leading daily activities while ensuring camper safety and well-Being, and serving as a positive role model.
Requirements summary
Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old with a high school diploma and possess 1-2 years of advanced experience working with participants aged 5-17 with special needs or social-Emotional/Behavior support needs. Mandatory requirements include completing pre-Camp training and obtaining cpr/Aed and first aid certification within 30 days of hire.
