Accountant I

The accountant i supports fiscal integrity by preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate accounting records and financial reports in compliance with gaap and state policies, while providing fiscal analysis and guidance to management and staff. This role handles accounts payable/Receivable, inventory/Property control, and travel compliance, collaborating with internal departments and state partners.

A minimum of three years of combined work experience and/Or college coursework in accounting or a closely related field is required, with a bachelor's degree equating to the full three years. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of sams, sap financial systems, and strong skills in accuracy, analysis, and communication.
