Children's Intervention Specialist

The children's intervention specialist intervenes in crisis situations through mobile outreach response, involving interviewing clients, performing assessments, and providing crisis interventions. This role also includes creating individual crisis plans, providing case management through linkage and referrals, and performing follow-Up with post-Intervention clients.

Candidates need a 4-Year degree in a social service field or a bachelor's degree plus one year of fieldwork experience with children, and must be able to become certified in the crisis assessment tool within six months. The role requires availability for on-Call duties, some weekend/Evening hours, and proficiency in basic office technology.
