Parent Educator

The parent educator is responsible for providing evidence-Based parent education through home visits and health center sessions to help parents encourage their child's development from the beginning. This includes conducting risk assessments and connecting families to community resources to promote positive parent-Child interactions and overall family well-Being.

A bachelor's degree in early childhood education, psychology, social work, or a related field is required, and experience cannot substitute for the degree. Candidates must have supervised experience working with young children and families, knowledge of early childhood development, and must possess a reliable car for required home visits.
