College Safety and Security Officer

The college safety and security officer is responsible for the general supervision, maintaining safety, and providing security services across college properties, enforcing rules and regulations to protect life and property. This role involves building connections with students, faculty, and staff while blending public safety duties with service orientation in a dynamic campus setting.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or ged, three years of post-High school work experience, and a valid florida driver's license, along with basic computer literacy and knowledge of florida law and security practices. Preferred qualifications include security or law enforcement experience, a florida security class d or g license, and an associate’s degree or higher.
