Educational Assistant IV - Severe Needs

The assistant is responsible for supporting special education teachers by assisting with instruction, addressing the medical and health needs of students, and implementing daily and long-Range lessons, including behavior support and life skills instruction. Duties also involve assisting students with daily functions like feeding and toileting, collaborating with the special needs team, and potentially administering medication and documenting health services.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate verbal and written communication skills in english, along with the ability to comprehend written and oral instructions. Preferred experience is in an educational environment, and the role requires physical capabilities such as occasional heavy lifting and frequent bending/Standing.
