Preschool and Primary School Counselor

The preschool and primary school counselor will provide short-Term, evidence-Based individual counseling, create and facilitate developmentally appropriate groups, and serve as a resource for mental health within the school community. Responsibilities also include collaborating with families, developing support plans, and responding to students in crisis situations.

Required qualifications include a master's degree in counseling or social work and a minimum of four years of experience working with children and teens, along with maryland licensure eligibility. Candidates must demonstrate experience facilitating counseling groups, knowledge of learning differences, and a commitment to equity and inclusion.
