Assistant Life After 21 Instructor
Doylestown, PA | Part Time, Hourly | Monday - Friday
8:45am - 4:15pm | $14.50 - $16 per hour

What is needed for this job as an Assistant Life After 21 Instructor
- 21+ years of age
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health concerns in a recreational or educational setting
- Degree completed or in progress in a related field
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families and other staff members
- Excellent observation skills to monitor individuals physical, and emotional well-being
- Are able to perform life saving skills in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
- The responsibilities we will trust you with as an Assistant Life After 21 Instructor:
- Working with 3-4 participants daily, engaging in activities that support the program pillars
- Assisting the Lead Instructor in monitoring the day to day functions of the Life After 21 program
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with disabilities
- Adapt program activities and provide support to meet participant's needs
- Complete incident/injury reports and other documentation as needed
- Log medications and obtain signatures from caregiver on a daily basis for medications administered
- Take attendance of participants
- Support the training and development of new hires
