Core responsibilities
The rn will accompany students diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on a bus route and provide clinical support in the school nurse’s office. They will also supervise students with type 1 diabetes during transport home.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have at least 6 months of nursing experience and a valid nys rn license. Additional requirements include bls certification, recent physical, and malpractice insurance.
