Child Development Specialist

The child development specialist oversees the planning, coordination, and evaluation of participant-Facing services, providing instruction and oversight for the early childhood education room (Ages 2-5). Key duties include planning and implementing educational activities, coordinating volunteers, recruiting families, developing curriculum, and completing necessary assessments and documentation.

A high school diploma or g.e.d. Is required, though a bachelor's degree may be mandated by funders. Candidates must possess two years of experience in childcare, education, casework, or a related human services field, with experience working with refugee populations being preferred.
