Special Education Paraprofessional

The special education paraprofessional will support students with academic, behavioral, and self-Care goals by implementing ieps and positive behavior support plans under teacher guidance. Responsibilities also include assisting with transitions, activities, personal care, and collecting behavioral and progress data to maintain a supportive learning environment.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least three months of experience supporting individuals with learning or behavioral disabilities. Required attributes include knowledge of behavior management, strong communication, teamwork skills, and the ability to remain calm during challenging situations.
