Swim instructor

The swim instructor must follow established lesson plans, understand stroke progression, and implement core values while communicating regularly with families about program information and student progress. Responsibilities also include completing swim assessments, identifying and correcting swimming techniques, maintaining attendance records, and ensuring participants are released safely to caretakers.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a valid work permit required if a minor. Previous experience with children or in a related field is preferred, and certification requirements must be met within specified timeframes after hiring.
