Recreation Special Assistant Counselor (Seasonal), Rec & Comm.

The recreation special assistant counselor is responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment while providing attentive care, especially to children with diverse or special needs. This role involves actively participating in daily activities to ensure every participant feels supported and encouraged.

Candidates must demonstrate a caring, patient, and child-Focused approach, possess strong communication skills, and maintain a positive demeanor in fast-Paced situations. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, specialized education or one year of experience as a special education paraprofessional, and current cpr/First aid certification.
