Employment Specialist - IPS

The specialist engages clients to establish trusting relationships aimed at achieving competitive employment, assisting them with understanding how employment affects entitlements like ssi and medicaid. They conduct individualized job development and job search activities, maintain regular employer contacts, and provide ongoing follow-Along support to help clients maintain their positions.

Candidates must have an undergraduate degree, with experience in providing employment services and knowledge of the work world being preferred, alongside experience working with people with severe mental illness. Responsibilities include spending 65% or more of work hours in the community and achieving specific job start or employment maintenance targets.
