Core responsibilities
The teacher will instruct students in academic, social, and behavioral areas under the supervision of the principal or assistant principal, while planning, developing, and assessing a comprehensive educational program. Responsibilities also include serving as an integral part of the school community by supporting extracurricular activities, participating in meetings, and maintaining accurate student progress records.
Requirements summary
Candidates are required to possess a bachelor's degree and must obtain the colorado department of education teaching license along with the colorado read act designation. Previous licensed teaching experience up to 7 years may be credited toward salary placement on the appropriate schedule.
