ECH Teaching Assistant

The teaching assistant provides instruction and supervision for early childhood students, supporting teachers by preparing materials, organizing resources, and supervising students during arrival, dismissal, and extended day activities. Essential functions include fostering positive relationships using specific behavioral methods, assisting with classroom projects, monitoring safety, and maintaining cleanliness of supplies and facilities.

Candidates must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or ged and are required to maintain current cpr and first aid certifications. Desired qualifications include additional training or experience in computer applications, along with knowledge of age-Appropriate child development, safety practices, and the ability to operate standard office equipment.
