Recreation Assistant

The recreation assistant directs trainees in leisure-Time recreation and non-Vocational activities, modeling excellence in workplace relations and ethics while preparing them for the workforce. Duties include organizing and implementing various recreational programs, coaching teams, assisting with fitness instruction, and ensuring all programs comply with department of labor standards.

Candidates need an associate of arts degree or one year of related experience working with youth, preferably in a recreation role. A valid driver's license is required, and knowledge of diverse recreational activities, along with the ability to obtain cpr/First aid/Aed certification, is necessary.
