Lifeguard - SUMMER 2026 - 528585

Urec lifeguards are responsible for ensuring patron safety by actively surveilling pool activities and strictly enforcing all university recreation policies, rules, and regulations. They must be prepared to prevent and respond effectively to any emergencies that arise while working across multiple campus aquatic facilities.

Applicants must be current university of alabama students maintaining required enrollment hours and possess or be able to obtain current american red cross lifeguard, first aid/Cpr/Aed for the professional rescuer certifications before employment. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to work 10 to 20 flexible hours per week, including varied shifts, and pass a pre-Employment skills test.
