Athletic Trainer WCU

The athletic trainer will provide sports medicine coverage, support the athletic training room, and assist in administering the sports medicine program under direction. Responsibilities also include documenting injuries, designing rehabilitation programs, and assisting with substance abuse and mental wellness coordination.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in athletic training from a caahep-Accredited program and be certified by the boc, hold a colorado state license, and have aha/Bls certification. While new graduates are considered, 2+ years of experience, especially in a collegiate setting, is preferable, and concussion management experience is required.
