SMCC Camp Counselor

The primary purpose is to create a welcoming and inviting summer camp environment for children of all backgrounds while modeling christian love. Key roles include providing encouragement, guidance, and emotional support to campers, and helping maintain clean and organized activity spaces.

Candidates must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, creativity, teambuilding abilities, and leadership skills, along with effective behavior management capabilities. Preferred qualifications include having completed the 11th grade or higher and having prior experience working with children in settings like bible study or teaching.
