Job responsibilities
The Nurse Substitute position would work as needed on school days 7
- 30
- AM to 3:30 PM. Part-time positions do not qualify for benefits. Applicants must have a current Missouri RN license, experience working with children preferred.

- Be available to work on an as-needed basis during school hours (7:30 AM–3:30 PM)
- Provide first aid, medication administration, and care for acute and chronic student health conditions
- Monitor and respond to student illnesses or injuries and determine when further medical care is needed
- Accurately document student health visits, medications given, and incidents according to school guidelines
- Experience working with school-age children or in a pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to collaborate with school staff while maintaining student health confidentiality
