Overview
- **Acute Care PNP, NNP or Physician Assistant Licensing Required*
- The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work under the supervision of the Medical Director of neonatology and the APP Director and other physicians within the group to provide continuous and comprehensive management of a global range of personal health services for the neonatology/ pediatric population at WakeMed, Duties will include providing the medical care, primary teaching and coordination of follow up services of the hospitalized newborns in the intermediate and newborn nurseries and to the infants in the Special Infant Care and other areas that are responsibility of the Clinical practice of Wake Med Specialty Physicians Practice. The Nurse Practitioner will deliver competent medical care to an age specific population including neonates, children, adolescents (birth- 21 years of age). The position functions as an educator and preceptor for students from health care programs. The provider must understand the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Physician Services - Neonatology.

Registered Nurse And Advanced Practice Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Required.
