COTA - Occupational Therapy Assistant Carolina Therapy Services New Bern, NC PRN Skilled Nursing
Join our team at this beautiful rehabilitative and long-term care facility, located minutes from the hospital and the medical office park. We pride ourselves in a warm, inviting, home-like and comfortable environment, and a commitment to meeting the needs of the patients we serve. Our rehab team works collaboratively utilizing a multidisciplinary approach with nursing, doctors, and our excellent restorative nursing aides, physical and occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists. This facility has a focus on post-acute rehab for short stay recovery, in addition to evidence-based interventions for our long term and assisted living residents.
Requirements
Graduate from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants program with an Associate’s Degree approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Licensed or certified by the state in which the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant resides or practices according to state requirements, and has received certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT).
