Diabetes Educator

The diabetes educator will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on developing curriculum and teaching materials for diabetic patients, while also acting as the lead instructor for the aade certified diabetes program. Responsibilities include teaching diabetes education skills, maintaining program development, policies, marketing, and data outcomes, and acting as a leader for quality improvement.

Candidates must have an associate degree (Bachelor degree preferred) and three years of experience in patient education, including one year specifically in diabetic education. Applicants must also be a certified diabetic educator and either a registered dietitian or registered nurse in the state of employment.
