Core responsibilities
The chaplain provides inter-Faith spiritual care, counseling, and guidance to patients, families, and staff, integrating existential, spiritual, and emotional well-Being into medical plans. This role involves active participation within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal spiritual care delivery and leading or participating in performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's in divinity or equivalent experience, along with two years of spiritual care counseling in a hospital or hospice setting, and completion of 4 units of clinical pastoral education (Cpe). Successful candidates must deliver timely, respectful spiritual care services consistent with association of professional chaplains standards across all phases of cancer and end-Of-Life issues.
