First Steps 4K Teacher

Teachers are responsible for ensuring a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment while creating engaging classrooms where children can learn, play, and grow. This includes implementing the sc state first steps 4k curriculum and fostering strong partnerships with families through communication and app updates.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and must pass background checks and health assessments, including the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field is required, although an associate's degree is acceptable if the candidate is actively pursuing a bachelor's, and at least six months of experience in a licensed childcare center is preferred.
