Job Description

The Graduate Front Desk Assistant supports the daily operations of the Graduate Admissions office by serving as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, responding to emails, greeting and assisting guests at the front desk, and maintaining professional communication with prospective and current graduate students. The assistant will also process incoming mail and transcripts, help maintain organized records, and assist with various office projects as needed. This role helps ensure the smooth daily flow of the office by providing administrative support and maintaining an organized and welcoming environment.

Be responsible and dependable. Must report to work as scheduled and on time. Demonstrate a pleasant and willing attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Maintain high level of confidentiality. Courteous and helpful always to faculty, staff, and students. Ability to comply with University policies. Students must be enrolled in a master’s graduate program at Baylor University.
