Teacher Aide Head Start

The teacher aide for head start is primarily responsible for the care, supervision, and safety of classroom children while assisting staff in planning and implementing age-Appropriate curriculum. This role also involves maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly classroom and playground environment.

Candidates must possess or obtain certifications in ct child care first-Aid, cpr, and medication administration, along with providing a recent physician-Signed statement of good health. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and reliable, insured transportation is mandatory.
