Core responsibilities
The school psychologist will administer and interpret standardized assessments, conduct comprehensive evaluations to inform eligibility and intervention planning, and develop evidence-Based supports for students' academic, behavioral, and social-Emotional skills. Responsibilities also include assisting with iep/Section 504 processes, providing direct counseling, and consulting with families and staff.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a preliminary school psychologist certificate or a school psychologist certificate issued by the michigan department of education. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals are required.
