CareerLink - Philadelphia, PA 19144Position Summary The Workforce Advisor plays a critical role in supporting customers enrolled in the EARN program by delivering high-quality, staff-assisted services that promote employment readiness, job placement, and retention. This position involves direct engagement with customers, coordination with internal and external partners, and diligent case management to ensure compliance with program requirements and successful outcomes. Essential Functions Customer Engagement & Case Management Provide excellent, prompt, and staff-assisted customer service to customers enrolled in EARN activities Meet one-on-one with all new customers within one week of enrollment Support EARN customers with setting goals using Goal 4IT approach and tools Review customer assessment forms at the time of enrollment for goal setting Interact with customers at least twice monthly to monitor progress and document goal achievement Maintain accurate and timely case notes in CWDS, documenting all customer activities and completing tasks in accordance with system protocols Maintain customer file per contract requirements Review customer activities to ensure that customers are participating in services that are aligned with their objectives. These can include career exploration, education and training, community service, independent job search, and job matching services. Upload documents and enter case notes and service codes in CWDS as required. Program Orientation & Coordination Participate in weekly orientation groups with new EARN referrals and provide overview of work readiness and case management services Participate in job planning and other customer-focused meetings and work with Job Matchers, Job Developers, Workforce Counselors, and Resource Coordinators to implement job placement and retention plans Activity Monitoring & Compliance Review customer time and attendance reports to ensure that customer is meeting time and attendance requirements Meet with customer to develop make-up plans as needed Review customer activities to ensure that customer is participating in work readiness training and job search activities Employment Support & Retention Work with customers and available resources to obtain required pay documentation Provide post-placement support to monitor job retention, re-engage customers with the EARN Center if employment ends, and coordinate work and wraparound activities Supportive Services Coordination Assist customer in obtaining needed supportive services from County Assistance Office, Resource Coordinators, Navigators, and other available resources Other

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a Human Services field preferred, or minimum of Associate Degree and 3 years relevant experience.
