Summary

  • We are currently seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in a traveling role. This position offers a dynamic work environment and requires a flexible, adaptable approach to meet the evolving needs of students and schools. As a traveling SLP, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while helping students reach their full potential.
  • You will provide services at the following school locations: Warrendale Charter Academy – Warrendale, Michigan, Hamtramck Academy – Hamtramck, Michigan

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide speech and language services to students in our charter school network. Collaborate with special education teachers to coordinate daily schedules, assessments, and annual IEP meetings. Participate in IEP meetings and deliver services aligned with each student's IEP. Support students through specially designed instruction tailored to their unique needs, including resource room, inclusion and/or pullout services.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, SLP license issued by the LARA. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience working with at-risk students is preferred, where applicable.
