The assistant coach is responsible for instructing student athletes in the rules and fundamentals of wrestling while assisting the head coach in determining the fundamental philosophy, skills, and techniques for the team. Duties also include assisting with recruiting, equipment management, travel plans, academic monitoring, and supporting the total athletic program.
Requirements summary
A minimum requirement is a four-Year bachelor's degree, along with experience as a college wrestler, college coach, or high school coach. Specialized training includes proficiency in microsoft office programs, synergy, a valid driver's license, and current first aid and cpr certifications.
