Headquarters - Bryn Mawr, PA 19010The Agnes Irwin School, a pre-K through 12 all girls’ school in Rosemont, PA seeks a Middle School Varsity Lacrosse Coach, beginning March 4, 2024, and ending May 20, 2024. This position will be responsible for developing the Middle School lacrosse program and student-athletes under the direction of the Athletic Director, and teaching skills and strategies that apply to the skill level of the student-athletes.QualificationsSuccessful candidates will possess: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience Experience teaching or coaching lacrosse; previous competitive lacrosse playing/coaching required Proven ability to exemplify the highest standard of leadership, sportsmanship, and respect Knowledge of appropriate safety measures to ensure the well-being of student-athletes Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage relationships with administrators, student-athletes, and parents Ability to attend all team practices and games PA Child Abuse History Certification, PA State Criminal Record Check, and FBI Fingerprints are required and must be less than one year old Must possess or obtain prior to start of season current First Aid and CPR certification The Agnes Irwin School does not discriminate in any term or condition of employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, ancestry, citizenship, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information or any other characteristic or status protected by federal, state, or local law.
