- Summary/Purpose: The School of Health Professions in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Bridgeport (Bridgeport, CT) invites applications for a part-time adjunct instructor Health Sciences-Exercise & Fitness faculty to begin in the spring of 2026.

- Responsibilities: (The essential functions or duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. Teach courses in biomechanics, strength & conditioning, personal training, fitness assessment, and other exercise science subjects as needed. Under general supervision, the adjunct professor will develop, prepare, and teach a variety of coursework in the Exercise & Fitness concentration in an on-campus setting. Support the mission of the department and college to promote student learning through quality instruction, curriculum enhancement, faculty scholarship, professional development, and service to the college

- Experience: The appointee must have earned a Master's Degree in exercise science, human performance, kinesiology, or a related discipline from an accredited institution by the start of the appointment period. Previous teaching experience and industry-relevant professional certifications (ACSM, NSCA, ACE, or NASM) are required. A minimum of two years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level is required.
