MAT Counselor (57271)

The counselor will provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients dealing with substance abuse and co-Occurring disorders, developing and implementing therapeutic treatment plans. Duties also include managing case management needs, maintaining required records, and consulting with clinical staff regarding client treatment.

Candidates must possess knowledge of counseling principles, asam requirements, and the effects of substance abuse, homelessness, and mental health issues, along with strong communication skills. A licensed alcohol and drug counselor (Ladc) or certified addiction counselor (Cac) certification is required, with a preference for a bachelor's degree and two years of experience.
