  • DUTIES -
  • May include, but is not limited to the following:
  • Facilitate simulation and skills lab operations by ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot simulation equipment, including human patient simulators, electronic simulation devices, task trainers, and audiovisual recording systems.
  • Prepare, set up, and tear down all ADN simulation and skills lab activities, ensuring all equipment and resources are functional and ready for use.
  • Serve as a resource for students and faculty during simulations and skills teaching labs, answering questions about equipment and learning resources.
  • Manage and operate simulation technology, including high-fidelity mannequins and audiovisual systems
  • Maintain accurate supply inventory and order supplies as needed under the direction of the SIM Lab Manager.
  • Monitor student skills practice hours and send required reports to the SIM Lab Manager as directed.
  • Assist in the teaching of clinical skills across the curriculum.
  • Facilitate skills checkoffs across the curriculum.
  • Serve as the fill-in instructor for hospital clinical groups or open labs as needed. ADDITIONAL/NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES All remaining duties are considered "nonessential" within the context of the ADA, which means that the function could be reassigned to another employee in order to allow a disabled individual to hold the position.
